Black Ash Burl

Black ash burl typically grows in swampy areas in the north, eastern United States and Canada.  Unfortunately, the trees are being ravaged by insect infestations and it is expected that up to 90% of the trees will be dead before too long. The burls are vonsidered valuable enough to salvage, and as you can see, they are quite beautiful.  This is the actual pen you’ll receive.

The section is made of ebonite, and It will come with a Jowo #6, stainless steel nib in the point size of your choice. It will also come outfitted with an international converter cartridge. Should you select the rollerball option, a Schmidt 888 refill will be included.
